Organized by the China Instrument and Control Society (CIS) with the China Mobile Research Institute among its co-organizers, this year's forum convened enterprises from across the instruments and metering value chain, research institutes and industry experts. Discussions focused on the core requirements of new information infrastructure — including computing networks, high-speed Ethernet, 5G-Advanced and 6G — and on the technological breakthroughs, ecosystem building and commercialization of domestically developed test instruments.

In the TestReady Outstanding Products award session, Xinertel’s XWU S100 multi-terminal emulator and Xcompass S100 4QSFP28 network impairment emulator passed the joint evaluation conducted by the CIS, CAICT and the China Telecommunication Technology Labs (CTTL), and were both included in the third batch of the TestReady Outstanding Products list. The two instruments address two of the most demanding scenarios in modern network validation: large-scale multi-terminal access simulation and high-speed network impairment testing at 4×QSFP28 rates. Li Liping, Technical Director of Xinertel, accepted the certificates on behalf of the company.

At the forum, Li Zhanyou, General Manager of Xinertel, joined other industry representatives in launching the Technical Requirements White Paper for Next-Generation Information and Communication Instruments. Jointly released by the China Mobile Research Institute, CAICT and multiple enterprises, the white paper reviews the new requirements that next-generation information network construction places on test instruments amid the rapid build-out of computing networks, analyzes existing gaps in the industry and defines priorities for future technology development — providing an important reference for the R&D planning and product evolution of domestic communication test equipment.

Xinertel contributed to the drafting and discussion of the white paper, drawing on its years of accumulated expertise in Ethernet testing to help the industry align on requirements and build a collaborative innovation ecosystem for test instruments.
